For those who want to spend the day relaxing by the beach in l’Escala, you can choose between 12 perfect beaches and coves. We have to highlight <\/span>La Platja, Playas d’Empuries, Moll Grec, Riells beach and Cala Montg\u00f3.<\/b><\/p>\n

The beaches of Riells, well known for being ideal beaches to visit with children; they have fine sand, very long and of little draft.<\/span><\/p>\n

Places of historical and cultural interest<\/b><\/h4>\n

If you want to know more about the culture and history of l’Escala you cannot miss the famous Greek Ruins of Emp\u00faries, where you can know the Greco-Roman past of the first Greek colony that settled there in the fourth century BC.<\/span><\/p>\n

In these ruins, is located the Archeology Museum of Catalonia.<\/span><\/p>\n
