In this way, you will be able to discover everything that this region of Catalonia offers in a personal, original and, above all, satisfactory way. Do you feel like discovering Girona\u2019s treasures?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Routes for a break in Girona<\/h2>\n<p>There are many recommended routes for you to take in Girona: <strong>hiking routes<\/strong>, routes through villages or even <strong>gastronomic routes through the region&#8217;s restaurants, such as the magnificent restaurants of l&#8217;Escala<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we are going to present a very interesting and recommended route to explore the municipality of L&#8217;Escala.<\/p>\n<p>The great appealing of this route lies in the variety of spaces and landscapes. On one hand, you will <strong>enjoy panoramic views on a large number of beaches and coves<\/strong> and on the other; you can tour rural roads and discover beautiful <strong>landscapes and historic farmhouses<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The route begins in Cala Montg\u00f3<\/strong>, from the same beach, head to the center of L&#8217;Escala along Trencabra\u00e7os street, once you reach Punta Montg\u00f3 Street; follow the signs GR-92 to <strong>P\u00f2rt de la Clota<\/strong> passing through Punta dels Cinc Sous, in direction to the beach El Salpatx and Les Penyes. Then cross the harbor through Romeu de Corbera Street to get to the silk sand beach of Riells. Then go along the beach until you reach the promenade, which, following the coast, will take you to the <strong>old town<\/strong> of l\u2019Escala<\/p>\n<p>Without skirting the seashore, <strong>pass through the Creu<\/strong>, where you will see numerous and picturesque fishing huts. <strong>Keep walking until you find Lampad\u00f2dor<\/strong>, a monument dedicated to the Olympic flame, once there, take the <strong>Paseo de Emp\u00faries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The promenade of Emp\u00faries has a length of two and a half kilometers, as you cross it, you will pass many <strong>beaches such as the Portitxol or El Moll Grec.<\/strong> Finally, you will reach the town <strong>Sant Mart\u00ed d&#8217;Emp\u00faries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Go through the town and continue along the road towards the Mas Sastruc. Later, take the road that leads to the farmhouses of Les Corts, signposted as &#8220;Les Corts to Emp\u00faries Road&#8221;, follow the road until you reach the road to Bellcaire. Finally you will find <strong>Cam\u00ed dels Termes<\/strong>, follow it in an easterly direction until you reach the starting point, <strong>Cala Montg\u00f3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With this circular hiking route, you will have traveled approximately <strong>18 kilometers<\/strong> and certainly, there is no better way of putting an end to the adventure that <strong>enjoying a tasty meal and fantastic views of the Cala Montg\u00f3 <\/strong>in our<a href=\"https:\/\/canmiquelrestaurant.com\/en\/the-restaurant\/\"> restaurant in l&#8217;Escala<\/a>.
