The tartar, it\u2019s a dish very appreciated that you can find present in the menu of our restaurant located in Cala Montg\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>. A privileged location in Gerona, exactly in the town of l’Escala.<\/p>\n

This dish hides a long history since its elaboration is of centennial origin. If we go back to the purest origin of this dish, we will have to take our mind back until the nineteenth century. A time when the name of the dish referred to the Tartar fillet.<\/p>\n

Therefore, about 200 years ago, this recipe made from minced beef and egg accompanied by a sauce that made the meat juicier.<\/p>\n
